Veronique d’Entremont is currently developing a body of work called “Comfort Zone” that explores disability; the emotions that surround personal disability and social reactions toward perceived disability. She creates sculptural garments that one can enter into, both emotionally and physically. It is an experiment in affecting the wearer; evoking an emotional experience in him or her while causing those around the wearer to behave in a way that facilitates this experience. With the Berwick, she will be exploring communication disabilities through interactive sculptural objects.
