Berwick & Friends Rock the LEF !
The LEF Foundation Contemporary Work Fund awards were announced recently. The following Berwickians are among the honorees:
Morgan Schwartz, AIR Artist 2005
Funds to support Whether/Weather, a messaging system exploring communication and discovery through illuminated beacons launched into the sky.website
Andi Sutton, Satellite Program Co-curator
Funds to support the National Bitter Melon Council, a social performance project that uses food promotion to inspire artistic dialogue. website
The Berwick Research Institute
General support for the Berwick Research Institute to continue the Artist In Research Residency Program and to expand the Artist In Research Public Art Satellite Program, providing time and space to develop projects. Special thanks to Meg Rotzel, Mary Fuller, Natalie Vinksi, Andi Sutton, and Susan Sakash for all of their hard work!
